Dungeon23 Day 1 - The Well

Day 1: The Well

The characters have been lowered into this circular room as explorers of an ancient temple complex. As your eyes adjust to the light you see that in the center of the room you've been lowered into is an altar, that looks to be covered and stained with blood. Around the altar are piles of old rope that have been decaying for decades at least. There are doors facing in the four cardinal directions, each carved with what looks to be a horrifying demonic visage.

Just as you get your bearings you hear the sound of the rope piling up... the villagers above have cut the rope and you realize... this isn't as it seems...
